The trip starts from the impenetrable forest of Bwindi which is home for half of the world’s mountain Gorillas. Enjoy an eye to eye contact with these gentle creatures in their natural habitat as you watch them play, feed and their general behavior in the forest. Bwindi has over 120 mammal species living in the forest. The eleven primate species found here include black-and-white colobus and L’Hoest’s monkeys, baboons and chimps. There are also forest elephants and several species of antelopes. Bwindi forest also boosts in a variety birds with an estimated 350 bird species recorded there. You will then proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park, look out for the tree climbing lions and other game including leopards, buffaloes, hippos and elephants.

Day 1: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National park.

Arrive in Rwanda in the early morning flight, do the golden monkey tracking in the volcanoes National park, have lunch and on the same day transfer to Bwindi forest.

Have dinner and overnight at silverback lodge.

Day 2: Bwindi impenetrable National park

Gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable national park starts very early in the morning After briefing at the park headquarters. Enjoy the wonderful experience as you watch these gentle giants play, feed and other behavior in their natural habitat. visit the Batwa community and get to learn their daily lives and enjoy their traditional dance. Transfer in the afternoon to Inshasha sector (Queen Elizabeth) for the tree climbing lions.

Dinner and overnight at silverback lodge.

Day 3: Bwindi-Queen Elizabeth National Park

Morning drive in Inshasha sector for the tree climbing lions and other game such as elephants, impalas, buffalos. Launch Boat cruise on the famous kazinga channel for the herds of buffalos, crocodiles, hippos. Dinner and Overnight at Mweya safari Lodge.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National park to Kibale National Park.

In the morning have a game drive in the northern sector of the park for another world-class experience. Look out for the tree climbing lions and other early hunting cats. Launch a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel for another spectacular experience to brighten your afternoon.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

Drive to kibale national park after your morning breakfast, you will have a swamp walk in the bigodi swamp for a special bird watching experience and primate species like the red colobus monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and many more.

Dinner and overnight at chimpanzee guest house.

Day 6: Chimp tracking-Kibale

After the morning breakfast go for Chimp tracking in the forest another wonderful experience with over 1500 individuals living there. Monkeys are seen jumping from one tree to another in a playful manner. Drive back to Entebbe airport in the afternoon. If time allows you can visit the Mabamba swamp or take a walk in the botanical Gardens.
